A the conclusion of the last edition of the Mille Miglia, ran on the Lancia Augusta that in 1936 won the Targa Florio, the car collector Corrado Lopresto and Marco Mattioli, CEO of MaFra, had decided to auctioned the Chopard watch received for the partecipation of the race.

Today is the 77th anniversary of the landings in Norway, known as D-Day. Among the over 5000 naval units that participated at the operation, one of these is present in the Lopresto Collection, the Thelas, a motoryacht of 21 meters of 1936.
