The Chopard watch of Mille Miglie at a charity auction

A the conclusion of the last edition of the Mille Miglia, ran on the Lancia Augusta that in 1936 won the Targa Florio, the car collector Corrado Lopresto and Marco Mattioli, CEO of MaFra, had decided to auctioned the Chopard watch received for the partecipation of the race.

The Mille Miglia ended successfully

The Alfa Romeo 2000 Praho at Villa d'Este Style

"Praho", the prototype of Touring bodywork of 1960, built on a chassis of Alfa Romeo 2000, it was invited on the 2021's edition of Villa d'Este Style 2021. The exclusive gathering of Alfa Romeo's 6C 2500 SS "Villa d'Este" gathers every year on the lake of Como some of the survived cars and some that has a connection with this model.

The winner of the Targa Florio Lancia Augusta will participate the Mille Miglia

On occasion of the Mille Miglia 2021 edition, Corrado Lopresto will participate with a car of the collection, that will be shown to public for the first time for the race. This is the Lancia Augusta that in 1936 won the 27th edition of the Targa Florio, recently brought liveries of the time.

The Thelas and the landings in Norway

Today is the 77th anniversary of the landings in Norway, known as D-Day. Among the over 5000 naval units that participated at the operation, one of these is present in the Lopresto Collection, the Thelas, a motoryacht of 21 meters of 1936.

The Isotta Fraschini 8C in Saronno

Wednesday 2nd of June in Saronno took place the event "Arte e Motori" organized by Rotaract Club Saronno and the cultural association Cantastorie with patronage of the municipality. For the occasion the Lopresto Collection has showed to the public the Isotta Fraschini 8C Monterosa Coupé Touring, one of the two survived pieces of this model, among the five built.

The Abarth 100 Record guest at the 90 years of Pininfarina

The Abarth 1000 Record of 1965, a unique piece with bodywork by Pininfarina and this year restored by Lopresto on behalf of the swiss collection The Pearl Collection, it was a guest for the inauguration of the exhibit "La Forma del Futuro" at the Museo dell'Automobile of Turin.

After an accurate work of a conservative restoration the Abarth 1000 Record of 1965 of the swiss collection The Pearl Collection was back in Monza where it won two speed records.

The exhibition "The Counts of the future" in Pescara

On the occasion of the Revolution Days "d'Annunzio returns to Abruzzo" which takes place from 2 to 8 September 2020, Lopresto brings the exhibition "The Counts of the Future" to Pescara after a great success in Kyoto. The exhibition celebrates two great personalities of motoring world between the two wars.
